Team USA survived a dramatic final-day surge from Team Europe to win the Junior Solheim Cup 13-11 at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. Morgan Pressel's side built a seven-point lead after the opening day and needed only 2.5 points from the singles to retain the trophy. Europe, led by Anne van Dam, responded by winning 8.5 of the 12 singles, but the early deficit proved too large.
Annabel Peaford produced the key moment by coming from two down with four holes left to beat world number one Asterisk Talley 1up. Eliana Saga won 4&3 over Adriana Garcia Terol, and Madeleine Conser beat Lana Guyot 5&4 to put USA close to the target. Kelly Zhang eventually secured the winning point with a 2up victory over Carolina Perez-Tasso.
Europe kept fighting through Sofia Maier-Borst, Axelle Guillemard, Lena Geier, Alice Kong and Marta Munoz, but USA held on for their second straight Junior Solheim Cup victory. The event took place just before the Solheim Cup at the same venue, with Sky Sports broadcasting the professional tournament from September 11-13.
